Adding more simple problems

This is not a specific problem idea, but more of a general problem-adding approach idea..

I've noticed that the more recent the problem - the harder it is to solve (in general, not 100% true).

I think you should also add simple problems for people who want to challenge their mind once in a while but aren't yet ready to reach the high level of math used in the advanced problems. that is instead of rising the bar on every update.

For me, being a high-school student with less than sufficient education to solve the advanced problems, there's a need for good, challenging problems but without such a high level of math, logic and algorithmic knowledge required.
So i'd love it if you add intermediate-level problems, as well as easy ones for starters.

It's not really true that more recent problems are, in general, harder. We have three broad grades of problem difficulty that we cycle through: we call them "easy", "medium" and "hard" – although of course we recognise that "easy" problems are still a good challenge for many people. The sequence usually goes E-M-H-M-E-M-H-M-…: so every four weeks or so, we cycle back round to an "easy" one.

If you're looking for "easy"(ish) problems, then try sorting the problems by ascending difficulty and pick one from the first page.

Or if you only want relatively easy *new* problems, then sort by descending ID and look for problems with a high solution count.

Why not try numbers 203, 204, 205, 206 and 207? We released those as an "easy" batch at the start of the new season back in September. You might find one or two that you like in there. Stick at it and you'll soon get more proficient … then you'll have a wider range of fun problems to tackle!
