Suggestion - Member since
I think it would be nice to have a "member since" field in people's profiles. This way you could see how active they are and how quick they were at solving the problems they did.

The database is against. We're running for many years now and did not file these data. It would be unfair to those around for many years now to set their "member since value" to some arbitrary value.

Can't argue with that. I guess the best one can do is look in this forum and look at the person's "joined:" profile info -- provided the username is the same as in the main site.

Project Euler: problem 1: the website states that problem 1 was published in October 2001.
If you look it up: the "oldest" member of this forum joined March 2006.
The whole point is: PE is a steadily growing collection of problems. Some members have been around for quite a long time solving the problems as they come. That's quite another perspective compared with someone just coming in and seeing a big set of problems, thinking that it arose "poof" out of the blue.
