Thanks and a small suggestion

Aha! The top scorers list is back. Excellent - thank you!
Suggestion for a short entry in the FAQ: "Why is it called Project Euler?"
The answer could include a wikipedia link.

The "Top scorers" feature works great, unfortunately it is spelled wrong (it is shown as "Top scoreres").

Of course. It should be spelled as topsorcerers

I think the displayed time is wrong on projecteuler.net
For example in Hungary the current time zone offset is UTC/GMT+2 hours.
For this now it says 6.45pm, but the correct time is 5.45pm.

For the Netherlands the time is correct now.
edit: What about some sort of "All Time Top 100 Scorers" list, updated once every week. That'd be cool

Of course Robert will be leading that one also, but still

I'm thinking of a list, where every user gets a point, when he reaches 100%. To get every possible point, one has of course to solve all problems and to solve every new problem before the next problem is published.
What sort of list do you mean?

I must be missing something. Could someone point me to where it's spelt this way?

In the header menu at the top of every page...

Duh! Sorry about that, but I see a slightly different menu. Anyway, all fixed, and thanks for pointing it out.

I'd support "Top Sorcerers"

Something along those lines, but I'd also give points to the first 5 (?) to solve a new problem. That way everyone can score points

What about a cross to show problems you haven't solved yet in your profile?
I think there had been such a sign until the server problems occured.

I'm quite happy to put the cross in if that's what members want, but I think I removed it previously because it could look quite depressing when you first start out. A cross seems to give the impression that it's wrong rather than you just haven't answered it yet.
What do others think?

You could think about some other sign. E.g. a blue circle with a white inner area or something. Just something that's suggesting it is still open.

It would be more in one style then to have the ticks green again. Not that I care much, I find the empty boxes easy enough to locate, but having a green and a blue or red icon would, well add colour

I found the tick / cross page challenging rather that depressing when I was working my way up. But I can see how others might take it differently.
Some symbol other than cross would work. A circle, as hk suggested, or perhaps a question mark.
I don't know if the database has information enough for this, but how about:
- A green tick for solved
- A blue circle or question mark for not yet attempted
- A red cross for having submitted an incorrect answer

That would be interesting. Not sure how many blue circles I would have. Better yet, have a red count of incorrect submissions. (The field might not be wide enough for this though !!)

As far as I know, incorrect submissions aren't entered into the database.

I kept track of the first X people to hit 100% every week. This is the result after 13 weeks, do with it whatever you want
