Will there be a problem released this Saturday (the 9th)? Normally we can see the upcoming schedule on the News page, but it just mentions that the new season has started at the moment. Thanks!

The new problem is automatically set live 48 hours before publication. No schedule is being published anymore,

Are your really releasing two new problems this week? Current news says we'll get 853 and 854 on this Saturday.

Can I ask why? I find the schedule helpful if I want to make plans around Project Euler.

Also, are you are still planning on shifting the start time by three hours each week?

Further doesn't change anything So you can do a simple planning yourselve.
The problem was that some admin had to set the problems live manually some time before publication.

I'm in the Los Angelos time zone; can you tell me if the next problem will be Friday night or Saturday night (at midnight)? Without the schedule, it's hard to know what day the overnight problems fall on. Perhaps Project Euler can post the algorithm used for the problem release schedule, such as "always on Saturday in such and such a time zone, and a midnight problem is released on Saturday morning, not Friday night". I am one of the impatient few that can't wait for a new problem and want to jump on it as soon as it is released.

The publication schedule is
Sa 13.00 GMT/UTC
Sa 16.00 GMT/UTC
Sa 19.00 GMT/UTC
Sa 22.00 GMT/UTC
Su 01.00 GMT/UTC
Su 04.00 GMT/UTC
Su 07.00 GMT/UTC
Su 10.00 GMT/UTC
and then back to Sa 13.00
(All times used are GMT/UTC! At PDT this it UTC/GMT -7, at PST this is UTC/GMT -8)

So you see never a problem is publised at midnight.
Besides: the system announces a new problem 48 hours before publication time.

The next problem (859) is published Sun 15 Oct 2023 07:00 (GMT/UTC)
From there on you can calculate the publication times of future problems the next weeks.
(Or write a small program for it that warns you a selected period of time in advance...)

Thanks for reinstating the problem schedule! I find it quite useful! Hopefully it doesn't require too much extra effort on your end
