I am a new member here, and I want to ask how the 'time to solve' is calculated. When I checked a Fastest Solvers page for a given problem, I can see some users with their time to solve, and sometimes, the language that they used.

My question is: How is it calculated? Is it from the membership duration, the time from when the problem is first loaded, or something else? I think it has something to do with the account being unlisted or not, but I am not sure.

The time to solve is the time difference between when the problem was first released and that particular member solving the problem. So for example, with Problem 792 (View Problem) it was released on 3 April 2022 at 4am (UTC). The first person to solve it was at 5:12.16, so it is recorded as 1 hour, 12 minutes, 16 seconds in the time to solve column. Keep in mind, that depending on your time zone, you might see different local times, but all timestamps are stored in the DB as UTC.
