How do I send messages?

Not on this forum, but on the main PE site, I used to be able to send messages through the profile pages.
Has that functionality been removed along with viewing of profiles, or has it been moved?

You can still send someone a private message via the email icon on the scores page - you can see what the resulting URL looks like if you know their username and can't find them on the scores page.

Is there hope of getting message links on the user names within the solution forums?
