What happend to the creation of pdf overview files, explaining the "best way" to solve the problem. Are they still being made, just not as fast because of time issues? Do you need any help making these files?

Yes, they are still being written, but we have only so much time and so many other things to do, too.
If you would like to contribute, check with us whether somebody is already working on the problem you want to treat.
