Hello,
I wanted to ask about my account, which has been locked in private status for a while now.
I'm not sure why but when I first joined, I did solve some of the early level problems very quickly since I was already since I do codeforces and I was already familiar with most of the standard patterns and foundational math required for the beginning challenges. But as I reached the higher levels, my solve rate naturally slowed down.
My main concern is that I want to participate in the specific problem threads. I would like to share my approaches and discuss solutions with the community, but my locked status prevents me from accessing or posting in those threads. I really enjoy the site and would like to contribute without resetting my account. Is there a way to manually appeal this status, or do I just need to continue solving problems until it automatically unlocks?

Re: Locked private status
There's nothing to stop you posting in the threads of any problems you have solved. Whilst your account is in private status (and as hk said, just keep solving to gain public status), your username will not be visible in the threads. You posts are visible, but currently, the header bar of your posts will be blank.aliu10523 wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 6:20 pm My main concern is that I want to participate in the specific problem threads.
