Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Hello, I suspect there may be a problem with the "Easy Prey" Award. I see that there are a total of 62 problems with the 5% difficulty rating. You may refer to my account, I have solved all 62 of them yet the award still says "48/50" completed. My suspicion is that the award is taking the info file and delimiting it based on a single # symbol. This would inadvertently cause two of the problems (which have a # symbol in their names) to shift their "Published" date values into the "Solved By" column causing them to appear as having way more solves than they actually do, thus requiring both for the Award.
Below are the two problems that I suspect the Easy Prey award is accidentally requiring:
294##Sum of Digits - Experience #23##1275120000##994##0
377##Sum of Digits - Experience #13##1332648000##787##0
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Nice analysis, but the script that checks for completed awards uses a different method.
In your case, if you go to the Archives and sort the problems by difficulty in ascending order, you need to have solved all fifty problems on that page. You will see that you are currently missing 712 and 836.

Oh my gosh, how silly of me. I could have just sorted by difficulty on the Archives page. Thanks for the quick response!

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Problem 901 does not properly display in its own new row in the progress grid.

Thanks. I've modified the style slightly. I hope it fixes it in all browsers/screen sizes.

At the moment it seems impossible to read forum posts without logging in. I just get "This board has no forums." Bug or new feature? Tried with Firefox and with Edge.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Hello, a few years ago (can't be sure when) I reset my progress and "boarded up" my account as I had to step away from PE for personal reasons. Today I decided to get back into it, logged back into my account and was met with the "This account has been permanently unlisted" as well as set to a private status that I can't seem to change.
As far as I can recall, I rarely pursued the latest problems so odd solving times wouldn't even matter. I generally worked through 1 to 100 in different languages as a learning tool, with some solves here and there on concepts that I felt comfortable with. Is there a way to understand what led to this and appeal the matter? Most members take great pride in earning ranked position. To ensure that the public tables fairly and accurately represent genuine achievements, solve times for problems are automatically processed. Any accounts that are public and exhibit unrealistic patterns are flagged for review by the team and may be permanently removed from public view; accounts that remain private will not be flagged.

Thank you for reporting. It should be fixed now. I'll be honest, it was a bit of a mysterious one and I'm not even fully sure why the fix I've applied works!

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Hello. I signed into my account after a long period of inactivity and I have issues loading my Awards page. When I try to go to Progress->Awards, a blank page (containing just the title and main menu) shows. When I inspect the source, it is cut short after "<div id="progress_page">" line, there is nothing more - not even the closing </body> and </html> tags. The same holds for Progress->Posts. I tried to log out and in again, I tried on a different device with a different browser - no change. What else should I try?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sorry about that and thank you for letting me know. I'd made a small change last night which had unexpected consequences. It should now be working.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Problem 253 has title "Tidying Up A". Maybe it was meant to be "Tidying Up" or "Tidying Up A Caterpillar"?

Tidying up A suggests there is of will be a Tidying up B (and/or C and?or...)

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Problem 920 has minor typo: "the the smallest".
div with id statistics_page or statistics_general_table_page is not closed on the Level N page.
