Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
One the page "Problems" who list problems 50 by 50, it should have a button Page 11 to easily see 450+ problems
Thanks for this site.

All you have to do is sort downwards by id (the little triangles around "ID").
No need for page 11 or something like that.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Page 10 can show the range 450-499, so we still have some way to go till a page 11 is needed.MaceNicolas wrote:One the page "Problems" who list problems 50 by 50, it should have a button Page 11 to easily see 450+ problems.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
The link in Problem 110 (View Problem) still uses the old URL format (index.php).

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
On the Statistics page it says there are 52 members with Level 18.
This seems like a bug of some sort because there are less members of Level 15, 16, an 17, then there are of Level 18 which is contradictory by itself since each bigger level is a subset of users from each smaller one
EDIT: Now that I think about it, not sure if they are mutually exclusive. I still haven't earned my levels yet, so I dunno if Level 2 user also has his Level 1 logo visible. If only the last level icon is highlighted, then all is fine, but logically thinking, ever Level N user probably has his decorations for Level 1, 2, 3, ..., N-1, N all highlighted.
EDIT #2: I seem awfully silly to myself with my logic. Let me simplify:
- if number of users represents users OF THAT LEVEL, then all is fine
- if number of users represents users who have all the level flags unlocked up to their level (like a medal collection), then my subset theory would seem logical

http://projecteuler.net/problem=245 is displaying badly for me; the lines separating the numerator and denominator of the three fractions aren't showing up.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
It is really great to have projecteuler back at full strength. Many thanks to the PE-team for that. I ran into a couple of irregularities this weekend that you may already know of but I will write them down just in case. First: I could not access problem 477 for (about) the first 5 minutes after the announced release time. Second: After posting my solution I got the green check mark and a link to the problem thread, but I was directed back to the problems page instead when I tried it. There was no entry with my name in the fastest solver list so I posted again, and that time everything worked as it should. Also, after the first green check mark I earned two achievements that I already have (On the ball and First 100).

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
The fact that you were told you earned awards you already had does sound like a glitch. Could you confirm... are you saying that when you first entered your answer it did not register as completing the problem? That is, did you have to re-enter your answer? Or are you saying that your answer was accepted (and updated your profile), but the link to the thread did not work on the page where you saw the green tick? Also, as I don't know your username at PE, what was your position when you solved it?

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I recall posting two or three times without being accepted (i.e. red cross). After some more debugging I posted the right answer and got the green check mark and earned the two awards that I already had. At that point the link to the tread did not work and I was directed to another page, the list of problems I think it was. Also I saw that I was not on the fastest solver list but I thought it might be some caching going on so I went to do some other stuff. When I was back I saw that nothing had changed so I went to the page of problem 477 and posted again, and this time everything was ok and I was number 27 on the list.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Obviously once you have entered a correct answer and return to the problem page you will see the answer at the bottom of the page rather than the answer entry box and confirmation entry box. So I'm still trying to clarify... After you had entered the correct answer and saw the green tick, you returned some time later to the problem page to see the answer entry box so you had to enter the correct answer again? In which case, would you be able to determine from your progress page if the time stamp corresponds with the first time you entered the answer or the second time and how does all that relate to your time in the fastest solvers table?

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
When I went back after the break I saw that I still was not on the fastest solver list and then I went back to the page of 477 and posted again. Of course I should have posted again directly if I had stopped and thought about what happened but I had no time for that. The time stamp on my progress page is consistent with the time in the fastest solver list and I estimate that it is the same as my second accepted posting.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
I have noticed that the number of solvers in the problems list (http://projecteuler.net/problems) does not match the number of solvers in the "Fastest Solvers" list (http://projecteuler.net/fastest=477).
I know that the fastest solvers lists for previous problems were frozen when the site returned to full functionality, but this concerns the newest problem (477).
It can't be because of caching; when I entered my solution, the text below the green check mark said I was number 60, but in the fastest solvers list I am number 55.
I realize that this is not a critical issue, I am just curious as to why there is a discrepancy.
Regards,
Asger

Currently I am unable to log in:
Neither Opera 12.16 nor IE 11 does work.
Username and password have been checked multiple times.
The last successful login was around Wednesday.

PS: every day I got logged off - An option for permanent login would be nice.

Are you still experiencing issues with being able to sign in? I've been signing in and out for most of the day and there are currently 154 members online.

It looks like you sent me a password reset request on 23 August. Unfortunately I went away for a few days on 24 August. When I got back I reset your password (28 August). You should have an email.

Re: Errors/Warnings/Bugs
Unfortunately i forgot the new password i entered after project euler returned.
I subsequently used the method described at the "account recovery" site, but everytime i send an email i get a "Mail Delivery Failed" answer (i tried this multiple times). I also tried filling one up with lorem ipsum to see whether it works (
) - i didn't get any replay at all.
My Account had about ~104 solved problems as far as i remember (definitely over 100!), so i'm eligible for a password reset. I really like PE, is there any help? Perhaps my EMail got blackholed or something. It's a GMX one. Do i have to setup another one, with a new provider?
(Maybe it would be possible to send me the reset information over the email adress of this account? It's the same i registered at PE (or an alias of it), and i registered this forum account ages ago in case i needed technical help)
Thanks in advance.
